The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

The Outsiders is set in the 50's. It is about a teenage boy called Ponyboy. Ponyboy is smart, funny and athletic. He lives with his two brothers. Ponyboy is a Greaser. The Greaser's often get in fights with the rich-kid socs. The socs beat-up the Greaser's for fun. I thought this book was really well written. I loved reading it.
